Character Description

SANAE♥chan, a pop'n music version of real-life pop'n music vocalist Sanae Shintani, is one of the series' original 13 rival characters. She is a friendly girl who loves to sing. She and RIE♥chan are best friends, occasionally making cameos in songs together.

• SANAE♥chan was named JACQUI in the Asian English release of pop'n music.
• Similar to JUDY and Mary, SANAE♥chan and RIE♥chan had the same animations in the early games. (In the case of pop'n music 4, they're literally the same sprite except for the color palette.)
