== Character Backstory ==
All three of the Umegiri sisters are from a family of clothes makers.  In addition, all three sisters have great magical abilities.  Ameto, as the oldest, was considered to have the greatest ability and so was placed to become the head of the clan.  She, along with [[Hihumi]], were responsible for taking care of a book of magic handed down generation to generation. 
About three years ago, the grandmother, the head of the Umegiri family decided to place a spell on Ameto in order for her to preserve her youth.  While the spell was being done, Hihumi made a mistake in the spell, causing Ameto to look much younger than she actually did.  The spell would cause Ameto's body to stay young.  The grandmother tried to reverse the spell, but she did not have enough magic power, although she had enough to stop the reverse aging.  The problem for Ameto was that if the spell wasn't undone properly, she could experience rapid aging or death.
 
Soon after, [[Iroha]] ran off with the magic book for mysterious reasons.  [[Hihumi]], in charge of the book, ran off to find her and punish her for stealing the artifact.  Time passed, and when both did not come back, Ameto, who thought that Hihumi was shirking her familial duties,  decided to go find them herself. 
Ameto came to Tokyo looking for her sisters [[Hihumi]] and [[Iroha]].  Finding [[Lilith]], she forced her to take her to Hihumi, and inadvertently ran into Iroha along the way.  She has "adopted" Lilith as a sister, much to the consternation of [[Shem]].
==Hihumi backstory==
Hihumi is the second of three daughters in the family.  All three sisters were brought up strictly by their grandmother.
At the surface, the Ume family seemed to run a typical clothing and fabric shop.  In reality, the shop was a cover for them for their real family tradition, which was the magic crafts of yin and yang, which included hidden techniques such as "Golden Touch".
Hihumi, at a young age, was responsible for maintaining and protecting the artifacts and books of the clan.  While doing, so she learned many magic techniques and the abilities of many of the mystical items she took care of.
Sakura, who at that time was possessing Iroha, one day saw the items that Hihumi was protecting.  Among them was a book of magical texts that had great power.  Sakura felt that she could use that book in order to either cross over into the spiritual world or to gain a new body, so one day, she stole it.
Irhoa, who currently attends the same high school that Hihumi did, was encouraged by her sister to adapt to regular society and to be good.  In fact, Hihumi actually is very protective of her.  However, in order to keep Iroha responsible, she is often strict to her, much to Irhoa's displeasure.

Xia survived the accident in which her older sister [[Nyah]] thought that she had perished.  However, due to the great trauma of this, the accident caused Xia to lose her memory and become an amnesiac.  She therefore had no memory of her older sister and of her family.
Coming to Japan, Xia decided to meet up with her long-lost sister.  The normally composed Nyah was in total shock over her appearance.
She now lives with her sister, and also attends the same school as [[Daruma]] and [[Tsugaru]].
