I thought it'd be lonely if GRADIUS was the only game music included here, so I included a medley of three songs from "A-JAX", whose music I really love.
Anyways, it was quite difficult to choose since they are all nice songs, but I decided them on a balance of familiarity, favoritism, and IIDX appropriateness.
It was quite difficult once I started creating this song, and I had to make several adjustments to the tone and balance until this unique texture and impact appeared, and it was finally completed.
By the way, this song uses FM sound sources for the bass and melody.

"A-JAX" is a shooting game released by our company in 1987. Did you all know this?
When some of our staff, including VJ GYO, casually asked "what's A-JAX~?", the super shooting gamer experts, TOMY.T and HES, scolded us.
The only port from the arcade was for the SHARP PC "X68000" in 1989, so it can't be helped that I didn't know this (would they scold me again if I say this?).

2007. Earth. Brainwashed soldiers invade neighboring countries armed with strange high-tech weapons, since the alien invasion of a certain major country.
From the Earth's cries for survival, and a glimmer of hope, the United Nation's special forces unit, codenamed "A-JAX", fights back.

As soon as I heard this song, I imagined myself riding on a supersonic-speed helicopter or jet fighter with them, with an extremely wonderful and addicting sound which makes me think, "I have that feeling!".
Consider the notes as enemies, and let's fight them with a shooting game feeling!
