Lyrics

Ai yai yai
Ai yai yai
Ai yai yai

Ai yai yai
Ai yai yai
Ai yai yai
Where's my samurai?

Ai yai yai
I'm your little butterfly
Green, black, and blue
Make the colors in the sky.

Ai yai yai
I'm your little butterfly
Green, black, and blue
Make the colors in the sky.

I'm searching for a man
All across Japan
Just to find, to find my samurai
Someone who is strong
But still a little shy
Yes, I need, I need my samurai

Ai yai yai
I'm your little butterfly
Green, black, and blue
Make the colors in the sky.

Ai yai yai
I'm your little butterfly
Green, black, and blue
Make the colors in the sky.

I've been searching in the woods
And high upon the field
Just to find, to find my samurai
Someone who won't regret
To keep me in his nest
Yes, I need, I need my samurai

Ai yai yai
I'm your little Butterfly
Green, black, and blue
Make the colors in the sky.

Ai yai yai
I'm your little Butterfly
Green, black, and blue
Make the colors in the sky.

Song Production Information

"BUTTERFLY" is a signature number of DanceDanceRevolution, which caused a dance boom throughout Japan. The original version was SMILE.dk's debut single, who were formed in 1997, and became a big hit in Japan, and other Asian countries such as Hong Kong and China. This remixed version, as its title suggests, is filled with an Asian taste. The combination of English lyrics and a melody which makes you think of Chinese movies, is irresistible. It seems fun to dance in a style which incorporates kung fu movements.
