Profile
kidlit, also known as Chie Fukami (深水チエ), is a singer-songwriter and pianist based in Tokyo, Japan. Having studied piano since the age of 3 and finding interest in books and pictures, Chie's style of pop is based on the idea of stories and images rather than genres, often making use of toy instruments, synthesizers, and "everyday sounds". Most of her music is released independently.
From 2016, Chie began to use her kidlit alias for her works. In 2016, Chie performed Shibuya-kei songs as a unit called sugarbee with Shunsuke Kida.
