To access the Extra Stage, clear the final stage and succeed in doing one of the following:
* On a Level 5/6 song, clear the song and Full Combo it
* On a Level 7 song, clear the song and have 100% on the Groove Gauge
* On a Level 8 song, just clear the song.
**All songs must be in ascending difficulty and you must get an A or higher on your final stage.


To access CARDINAL GATE in Free Mode:
The Cardinal Gate system is a new extra stage system that challenges players to pass four "gates" for their extra stages in an effort to play the One More Extra Stage.  In order to reach the OMES, the player needs to obtain "marks" for all of the Cardinal Gate songs. This is done by Hard Clearing all 4 songs on the ANOTHER difficulty, passing with at least an A.  After all four marks are achieved, the next time you Hard Clear (on ANOTHER, with at least an A) a song in the Cardinal Gate, you will earn the OMES.
