* Name: Reo Nagumo (南雲玲生)

* Birthdate: November 20th, 1973
Reo Nagumo (born November 20th, 1973) can be considered the grandfather of BEMANI. He was the first sound director, the first in-house composer, and did the first title screen music. He's also the only BEMANI composer to sound direct all three beatmania series, as well as write songs for the short-lived ParaParaParadise. His musical styles are especially focused on rave and pop music, though he dabbled in a few other genres as well.
* As of 2006, he has allegedly retired from Konami and inherited a sushi restaurant in the United States. See the Music Production Info for tiger yamato. However, in 2007, he was still able to appear for a video interview in Japan for dj TAKA's album "milestone."

* First Bemani project: beatmania AC (1997)
In 2000 Reo Nagumo stopped working in-house and became a commission artist, continuing to write music for IIDX and pop'n music until 2006. His only appearance in BEMANI since then is a remix of GRADIUSIC CYBER for once-colleague dj TAKA's album milestone. In 2008 all of his post-4th style songs were removed from IIDX, and the following year so were all of his songs in DanceDanceRevolution (and quite a few in pop'n music as well).
* Last Bemani project: Pop'n Music 14 FEVER! AC (2006)

* Is the only Bemani artist to write a new song for Konami's ParaParaParadise series of games
It was hinted that he inherited a sushi restaurant (see the music production Info for tiger yamato), though this was later proven untrue. Currently Reo is the CEO of a Japanese company called Yudo Ltd., and is currently writing music for the WiiWare/iPhone series Aero Revolution. A link to an article on this can be found here.
