Around since the very first pop'n music, Sugimoto Kiyotaka was very active in pop'n music and beatmania from 1998 to 2002, and served as a sound director in both series. He also occasionally appeared in beatmania IIDX, where he started out as a sound data analyzer. Around 2001 / 2002, though, he left Konami, though he came back a year or so later as a commission artist.
