=== Power of Nature ===
"A slow but tough boss song" was the theme of this piece. I wanted to break the dogma that "if it's 170-200BPM, it's difficult".
What should I do to leave my own mark on pop'n's history of boss songs that my seniors have built?
I decided to bring the last of fantasia's magic into this song.
I took advantage of pop'n's lack of barlines and, by using fine notes of 16ths and longer and changing the time signature, I created a sense of speed that doesn't rely on the BPM.
As a result, it's a very busy song even at 140BPM.
I think many players saw the 140 and returned.
In addition, I think the chaotic composition is linked to my state of mind at the time of its creation.
I was aiming to do a lot of things, but when I hear the song now, I believe it's the kind of song that only game music is allowed to be and that only game music can accomplish.
The tone is complex, too; both getting lost in the forest and running through the sky, both thoughtful and simple, both easy to understand and hard to grasp, a happy end and a bad end, sad but tender, empty but full.
I imagined how I'd feel going as I retraced the events leading to the story's end, creating and connecting phrases accordingly.
I asked the team to reflect these thoughts accordingly in the animations, making them mysterious but not too serious.
The metaphors, or rather the lack of directness in the metaphors, stir the imagination and makes it really good.
Imagination is an asset in any era, and I believe whatever story you imagine is correct.
I believe this is an important way for people to enjoy pop'n, and the reason we have been able to produce 20 titles.
In the truest sense, pop'n music was created and nurtured by everyone.
Thank you all very much.
"MURAKUMO" has no set ending as the music fades out.
I thought that fading it out would be more meaningful and beautiful than giving it a precise end.
But one thing I do know is that beyond the fade, the next era awaits.
The next pop'n music is already in motion.
And I, with all my brazenness and generosity, would like to ask you all to help me nurture that as well.
Thank you for your continued support of pop'n music.
''Always and forever, I'll watch over you.''

Okay, I thought about writing a poem here, but I couldn't think of anything, so I'll just say that I was happy to be in charge of these animations.

The MZD I drew for the drafts looked a bit more childish, but I decided to go with animations that looked only almost visible, with no facial expressions so no one could tell how old he was, and had him walk with his back facing the camera in his Neutral animation. PON also wanted "a boy who looked ordinary at first glance but had a mysterious aura".
However, it was difficult to make these animations where I couldn't show any facial experessions. So I put a lot of effort into the movement of the wrists and the fluttering of his clothes and such... I hope you can feel the love.

Personally, my favorite animation is the one where he lies in a peaceful meadow. I'd love to bask in the sun like that.
