Hi, PINK PONG here. Thanks to all of you who have kept 9th style close to their hearts while moving on to 10th and let me participate again! (pink pong debuted in IIDX in 8th style.) I hope we'll all still get along from here on out!
Hello, I'm PINK PONG. I'm really thankful to everyone for allowing me to participate in the release of beatmania IIDX 10 following 9! (pink pong participated in the IIDX series since 8).
Nice to meet you from now!

This is the 6th installment in my "dream" series. During production, I think about what I should do to make my own dreams realities; I think about what I can't do and what I don't like, and deal with them at my own pace and keep moving forward. I've always thought I could somehow come closer to attaining my dreams this way.
When I composed the sixth song of the Dream series and thought about how to make my dreams come true, I thought I could somehow get closer to my dream by leaving out the things I'm currently not good at doing, clearing as many things as possible at my own pace, and advancing forward.

Play this song like you're fighting a battle to win your dreams!
Please PLAY this song like you're a warrior chasing after your dreams!
Then, move on into the future!!!!
Then, GO towards the future!!!! That's right!

Your dreams for the future change little by little every day.
Your dreams for the future change each day.
What should you do to make these dreams come true?
What will you do to make these dreams come true?

At first they say if you study as hard as you can, you'll be guaranteed to be able to overcome any hardship. So does that mean you should spend years of your life in hours-long classes learning the advanced theorems of some genius professor, right? No way. You'd forget it after a few months. Oh, that's not all. Just studying won't give you motivation necessary for mastery.
Firstly, if you study very hard, you'll be guaranteed to overcome anything.
However, does that mean you can understand theorems, which took several years for smart scientists to discover, in just a few hours of lessons?
That's impossible. You'll probably forget it after a few months.
Oh, that's not all. No matter how much you study, you won't feel like you've mastered it.

I'd rather count on more reliable, easier to understand ways of making a living. So, when I got my first job, I got a guitar and a bike. Was I going to be a musician or a racer!?
After all, you want to acquire skills which are more secure and easy to understand.
So, when I worked part time, I received an electric guitar and a motorcycle. Did I become a musician or a racer in the end!?

I was no good at the guitar. I just had a lot of fun "playing" along unplugged to CDs. I was pretty fast on a bike (I thought). So I put a lot of effort into that. Actually, a kind of eccentric professor of mine arranged for a certain woman racer to come to our school. It was almost like a little mini lecture series. I can remember all the stories she told in her flashy leather racing gear ... it stuck with me for a long time. It had a huge influence on me; it was like she had become some sort of a rival to me, and I wasn't about to lose. I even began to wonder if I could surpass her level of skill. But I never had enough skill even to compete with a friend of mine; he even ended up getting an international license (though now he's switched to bicycles). That wasn't any good either.
I was honestly not good at playing the guitar. It was quite fun just to imitate and play it unplugged with CDs.
I was quite fast on my motorcycle (so I thought). So I put a lot of effort into that.
Come to think of it, a unique teacher invited a certain female racer to come to our school, like a mini after school lecture, and told us various stories while wearing her racing gear (flashy leather overalls)... I remembered it for a long time.
I was extremely influenced by her, and felt she was always a female rival "I won't lose to" in my mind.
And I reached the point where I thought, "can I win against her?".
But after that, it reached the point where I was only laughed at by my friend, who had an international license (he's currently changing to bicycles). I also wasn't good at this.

So why do all these memories of vague dreams come rushing back when I listen to this song!? It's definitely not just because of the title. I don't think just a song title can swing open the rusted-shut doors of your old memories. The key must be a level of musical skill that can accurately respond to the movements of my heart from that time.
When I listen to this song, I wonder why all these vague dreams at that time, continuously appear in my mind!?
I'm not only influenced by the song title. I don't think just the power of a song title can open the heavy and rusty doors of my memories.
I'm sure music is the key to accurately capturing the movement of my heart at that time.
