Dancing Stage UNIVERSE2?
As far as I can tell, DDR UNIVERSE2 and DS UNIVERSE2 are exactly the same game, with the only difference being a few different licenses. And the default song sort even separates the region-specific licenses from the ones shared between the two versions! It makes sense to have separate pages for things like the PS2 Dancing Stage games, which generally have differences all around, but is there any reason I can't just fold the not-yet-existent DS UNIVERSE2 page into this one, with a section for the exclusive licenses, a la pop'n music / pop'n rhythm? Or was that just a special case because it's a mediocre spinoff? (Really, this question could probably go for most of the Xbox DDR games with a Dancing Stage counterpart...) - If Dancing Stage PARTY EDiTiON (which is KONAMIX with five of the songs changed) gets a page, DS UNIVERSE2 does too, surely? --totally not by MENDES (talk) 14:54, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- Usually, DDR / DS UNIVERSE are listed on the same line of a difficulty table while KONAMIX and PARTY EDiTiON have each a unique line. If we follow that logic, it should be okay to include DS UNIVERSE songs into a DDR UNIVERSE page. Similarly, the Chinese version of UNIVERSE3 is included on the UNIVERSE3 page. I think you can add the DS songs into the page for now and FinalOffset will decide if we split the page or not later. --Miik (talk) 15:24, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- Pages should be split in my opinion, if only by the mere fact that we have created different pages for each Dancing Stage game save for the hottest party pages. Technically pop'n rhythm's page should be as well (it looks cluttered), but honestly I'm not going to bother much with it. --FinalOffset (talk) 03:30, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
