Profile
Akehiro Hidaka is a commissioned artist by Osamu Migitera to work on the beatmania series (of which Osamu was one of the sound directors). When the beatmania series ended, Akehiro started to contribute to the pop'n music series with some original songs.
Akehiro is also known to be a vocalist in most Des-ROW songs. Outside BEMANI, he is member of the duo asyura 3rd.
Trivia
- Akehiro's songs are known by the BEMANI fans for being "dark". However, he stated that "I think there are a lot of types of musical artists; however, I think as an artist you don't get to select your own "type". Without wishing for it personally, I adapted the feeling of a "dark" musician. I think this is true even now. You can't choose it."
- Akehiro composed the original song GHOST for V-RARE SOUND TRACK 7. GHOST is currently the only song on a V-RARE SOUNDTRACK to not be present in any BEMANI game in any form.
