- FIFTH GIG TYPE II was unlockable in GuitarFreaksXG2 & DrumManiaXG2 from August 26th, 2011 by obtaining 90000 Live Points in GROUP MODE.
- Takashi Yasuda, the drummer for FIFTH GIG TYPE II, was previously in the same band as Mutsuhiko Izumi (Kennedy) during the band's second album, Kennedy!.
- Unlike FIFTH GIG, FIFTH GIG TYPE II does not sound different across its Drum/Guitar/Bass charts.
