CS is still a correct term for this game, it stands for Consumer Software (that is, "home release") --[[User:FSX|FSX]] ([[User talk:FSX|talk]]) 03:41, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
* I was looking over the BEMANIWIKI article on INFINITAS, and they've noted that some of the regular IIDX commissioned artists like Keiichi Ueno and such might not have shown up in this game is due to JASARC, as listed [http://www.bemaniwiki.com/index.php?beatmania%20IIDX%20INFINITAS%2F%CC%A4%BC%FD%CF%BF%B6%CA%A5%EA%A5%B9%A5%C8 here]. This would explain a lot of the surprising omissions in the game. This also likely means the odds of the rest of the SIRIUS/Lincle songs being in this game are roughly 0 now. --[[User:Tsuyoshi-kun|M.B.]] ([[User talk:Tsuyoshi-kun|talk]]) 05:02, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
** Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the case for those songs. It hasn't been the first time when a third party prevents a Konami original from appearing on a game (see Sony Music with [[Mirai prism|ミライプリズム]]). --[[User:FinalOffset|FinalOffset]] ([[User talk:FinalOffset|talk]]) 16:35, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

**** AFAIK, it was just links to the pages that featured tied to JASRAC. [[Keiichi Ueno]], for one. --[[User:Tsuyoshi-kun|M.B.]] ([[User talk:Tsuyoshi-kun|talk]]) 06:02, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

Can we add [[CHECKING YOU OUT]] & [[Go Beyond!!]] to the monthly distribution songs? Even though Konami didn't list those songs, you can see a photo from their BG videos in the background of this photo: http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/eac2dx/infinitas/p/images/cm/cm20160104.jpg --[[User:Christinaaguilerafan56|Christinaaguilerafan56]] ([[User talk:Christinaaguilerafan56|talk]]) 02:46, 29 December 2015 (UTC)

** I agree. It does look very cluttered. Either remove them, or make a template that allows it to be listed on the far left side what game the song's from.

I added the ones Konami announced (though it looks like I got the date wrong on when they show up). It looks like they may be doing them in sets, the site mentions songs being added on the 10th and 17th (but doesn't give names). Also, it seems they may be providing ways to unlock songs that were missed. Though I should note that I read all of this with Google Translate, so details could be off. And as I noted in the edit summary, I'm betting that Theme of Denjin J's CS Another will not be around, but Konami could surprise us. Though it's not like an official rating is available for it anyway. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 04:03, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

Added the next set (surprised anything was revealed right after the release of the earlier ones). I'm wondering if that table should be redone at some point, cause it might start getting fairly cluttered if Konami keeps up with the "only one song from each style" thing they've got going here. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 04:48, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

== championship Mode ==
KONAMI seems to be treating as a separate new game, and notes that the original servers for INFINITAS will go down on February 28th, 2021. As seen [https://p.eagate.573.jp/game/eac2dx/infinitas/p/common/news/news.html?news_id=news2020/20200804_iidx_ns here]. I can do it if anyone is fine with that. --[[User:Tsuyoshi-kun|M.B.]] ([[User talk:Tsuyoshi-kun|talk]]) 11:15, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

Konami announced a new championship (apparently for next week), so I updated this section a bit. I'm going on the assumption that only ANOTHERs will be available for this like they were for the KAC 2015 qualifier round, and that there will be four songs. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 02:30, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

== New songs for this week ==

Don't have time to add them to the table, but the list is on the INFINITAS site:

*高高度降下低高度開傘
*CaptivAte~裁き~(SUBLIME TECHNO MIX)
*eRAseRmOToRpHAntOM
--[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 12:28, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
* Added them, thanks! --[[User:FinalOffset|FinalOffset]] ([[User talk:FinalOffset|talk]]) 13:18, 14 March 2016 (UTC)

== Akashic Explore ==

Konami finally posted a small amount of information about the Akashic Explore...but only that it will be held next week and the update will require 2.3GB. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 01:30, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
:This is now live. I've unlocked scar in the earth and SPACE FIGHT (normal on both) so far, and if there's no more information found by this evening (which would surprise me), I'll dig some more. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 13:04, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
* There are several songs...
** scar in the earth
** Space Fight
** Gradius -Full Speed-
** Spica
** Andromeda
** Type Mars (G-Style Mix)
** THE SHINING POLARIS
** Almagest
** Lion Suki
** snow storm
** Narcissus At Oasis
*** I will add the songs to the page now. I don't have access to INFINITAS right now, so if someone can fill the details on the event, it would be great. --[[User:FinalOffset|FinalOffset]] ([[User talk:FinalOffset|talk]]) 00:26, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

The INFINITAS site mentions two layers will be added in the next update (sometime in mid-May). One will be new, and the other will be for the January monthly distribution songs. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 04:04, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
:Konami published the details, so I added the note about the January songs being added to the Archive Layer. Note that the update got suspended because of issues, hence the ? for the day in there. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 13:02, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
::The update has been reissued, and Bemaniwiki has the Cyber Layer songs. Cyber Layer Normal unlocked for me immediately (even though I had just unlocked Ave De Rapina in Nature Layer), but Hyper and Another did not. Also, I think it's safe to say that there will be no more monthly distribution songs. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 13:03, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

== Akashic Explore Layers ==

Should these be all capped? They're only initial-capped in-game (Space Layer, Nature Layer, Cyber Layer). --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 03:47, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
* My bad, I was following [http://bemaniwiki.com/index.php?beatmania%20IIDX%20INFINITAS%2FAkashic%20Explore this BEMANIWiki page] for the event. I will fix this now. --[[User:FinalOffset|FinalOffset]] ([[User talk:FinalOffset|talk]]) 12:45, 19 May 2016 (UTC)

== Akashic Explore Summer Layer ==

I may or may not have Awakening and D.C.fish swapped in the ordering. I can't remember which of the two I unlocked first there. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 03:19, 7 July 2016 (UTC)

== New unlock system ==

With Akashic Explore's ending, the game has switched to an unlock system where songs are unlocked with BITs. The number is variable per song (and per chart), and I don't see any consistency. Any idea how to do the table for that? --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 02:49, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

* Taking the [[PnM_AC_eclale/Star_Factory|Star Factory]] route, and creating a subpage for it would be ideal. --[[User:FinalOffset|FinalOffset]] ([[User talk:FinalOffset|talk]]) 13:39, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

** It looks like there *is* a consistency in the BIT costs for charts here. Looking at the numbers again in INFINITAS directly, I'm seeing the following pattern: (SP difficulty + DP difficulty) * 500 = final cost. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 16:20, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

== Championship mode songs ==

These are finally being made available, but on a limited basis. The KAC qualifier songs are unlockable from December 5th at 10AM, the Starlight Cup songs are unlockable from January 5th at 10AM, and the Premium Cup songs are unlockable from Feb 5th at 10AM. These are awarded simply by logging in (I got all four of the KAC qualifier songs immediately), with no BITs necessary to unlock them. The unlock availability for all will cease after February is over. Not sure how to integrate this to the championship mode section, I feel like adding a third line to the category rows would look unwieldy. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 02:20, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

== August updates ==

Things might be getting a little convoluted for a couple of the categories here, and I'm not sure how to adjust things. I added the two songs revealed for the monthly bonus. In addition, the monthlies for September-December from last year will be made available as BIT unlocks with the same update. And added on to THAT, the last three championship mode tournaments will be made available after the upcoming one.

The upcoming championship mode tournament has the following songlist:

*恋する☆宇宙戦争っ!! / Prim
*蛇神 / Zektbach
*Infinite cave / 猫叉Master+
*TITANS RETURN / L.E.D.

--[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 02:30, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
* Sorry for the late reply, but I re-organized a bit the page here. I'm thinking on dropping the <nowiki>{{from|}}</nowiki> template on this page to be honest, maybe that will slightly unclutter the page. Still have to fill the BIT unlocks for this year though. --[[User:FinalOffset|FinalOffset]] ([[User talk:FinalOffset|talk]]) 15:42, 20 September 2017 (UTC)

== Q-Pro based songs ==

Not sure where/if to note this, but INFINITAS does not currently support Q-Pro characters (I was waiting for the October update to actually be out before mentioning this, in case it was added then). Songs that normally show them in AC (such as Todestrieb) won't have anything in the Q-Pro spot. --[[User:Thunderbird|Thunderbird]] ([[User talk:Thunderbird|talk]]) 13:02, 9 October 2017 (UTC)

JASRAC licensing issue?

  • I was looking over the BEMANIWIKI article on INFINITAS, and they've noted that some of the regular IIDX commissioned artists like Keiichi Ueno and such might not have shown up in this game is due to JASARC, as listed here. This would explain a lot of the surprising omissions in the game. This also likely means the odds of the rest of the SIRIUS/Lincle songs being in this game are roughly 0 now. --M.B. (talk) 05:02, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
    • Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the case for those songs. It hasn't been the first time when a third party prevents a Konami original from appearing on a game (see Sony Music with ミライプリズム). --FinalOffset (talk) 16:35, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
      • The JASRAC link on the Bemaniwiki page seems to lead to an error page these days. Any idea if it previously had anything worth mentioning? --Thunderbird (talk) 02:57, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
        • AFAIK, it was just links to the pages that featured tied to JASRAC. Keiichi Ueno, for one. --M.B. (talk) 06:02, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

Removing "from" template

  • I'm considering removing the "from" template used in this page (and only this page), as almost all songs are from other IIDX titles and using the template for them clutters the page. Thoughts? --FinalOffset (talk) 22:06, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
    • I agree. It does look very cluttered. Either remove them, or make a template that allows it to be listed on the far left side what game the song's from.

Suggesting making separate page for new INFINITAS update

KONAMI seems to be treating as a separate new game, and notes that the original servers for INFINITAS will go down on February 28th, 2021. As seen here. I can do it if anyone is fine with that. --M.B. (talk) 11:15, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
