john=hive is a Japanese bassist and lyricist. He was active in the doujin circle Alice Music since 2009, but stopped after a few years. Since then, he has been active as a support member of the IOSYS circle since 2015, and joined it as an official member in July 2024.

john=hive is also a music creator for the virtual music unit Hachigatsu Niyuki (八月二雪) with vocalist Qkiki since 2016.
