Lyrics
Japanese
蒼く永い夜にのまれ 未来の光探してた 希望の欠片も抱けず 寂しかったね 一人泣いたね ほら見上げて 笑おうよ Don't you worry, everything is going to be fine この今を生きよう 過去の憂い忘れ 僕達の未来はそこ ほら 待っているよ Look at the sky, and your tears will be dried There will be no more clouds in the sky 僕達の夢はそこに 手を延ばしてごらん この今を生きよう 過去の憂い忘れ There is a future waiting for you and me You gonna be a happy one
English
When the nights were so long and you were crying so hard I know you couldn't see any light in the dark You were trying so hard to get out of the dark You were feeling that you had lost all your hope La la lift up your soul, come together, Don't you worry, everything is going to be fine Now is the time, happy go lucky! (yes! to be happy) No more worrying about your past There is a future waiting for you and me You gonna be a happy one Look at the sky, and your tears will be dried There will be no more clouds in the sky We keep on walking, dreams are on our way The days were over when we cried much Now is the time, happy go lucky! (yes! to be happy) No more worrying about your past There is a future waiting for you and me You gonna be a happy one

"This is my first composition for DDR, and I am very excited to share my music with all the fans. As I was considering how to write this song, two basic ideas came to my mind. One was to have lyrics that are cheerful, and another was to create a melody with good groove - as dancing not only makes everyone happy, but also lets them forget all the bad things that have happened in the past. So I wrote a song based on these ideas. I added the message "Anyone can enjoy dancing, so why don't you dance with us. We'll Lift You Up!" in order to help everyone realize that is the power of dance.
Arranging the song was also done keeping these same ideas in mind, but I also wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy the song even when they are not dancing. So, I focused on its quality as a musical piece. I think that I have created a song fulfilling all of these goals. I hope that everyone enjoys it and that it makes you happy!"
