- rottel-the-Mercury is part of sampling masters MEGA's "rottel" series of songs, along with rottel-da-sun from beatmania IIDX 6th style.
Trivia
- rottel-the-Mercury's video features fishermen using Tran and giant steaks as bait.
- It is also one of the few videos with Tran in it that is not done by VJ GYO.
- The "Mercury" in the title does not refer to the planet in the solar system, as in rottel-da-sun, but a reference to the element (and toxic chemical) mercury (Hg).

Thanks for always letting me work the way I want. And thanks for letting me come and go like this. When I wrote this song, I didn't deliberately make it as if I felt, "If I don't make it full of energy, it will boil over by itself". And man, is it energetic! (I like it better than pretentiously intelligent music.) I'm still trying to build up my energy again, so let me do another song (but give me a break first!).

It's a mad video.
Leave Tran hanging as much as you'd like.
It was fun to come up with it while thinking about playing around the surroundings at work ... *g*
