Music Production Info

(The music production info is a commentary by dj TAKA.)

TaQ himself says his orchestral compositions are inspired by TAKA and Osamu Kubota, but he's truly the master in that subject. This song, "empathy", invokes a somewhat Middle-Eastern image; its title seems to be meant to invoke a sympathetic response to the idea of us, musicians, as empaths, as communicators of emotions.

Video Production Info

We started work on this movie by deciding on a motif of transmission, resonance, and a repeating cycle of emission and reconvergence. The technique of the movie itself involves a simple style of switching between subjects, but this brings the subjects themselves to the forefront and is meant to make them stand out more to the viewers. You should appreciate the magnificence and solemnity in the movie as much as you can, as it helps to communicate the entire meaning of the musical composition. Now, the artwork for this movie was done in collaboration with Goli. While he was also responsible for the TaQ and empathy logos, I'm especially impressed with the evil dragon god, a purifier of emotions holding spheres of running lightning in its hands.
