Ayako Saso is a veteran composer in the video game industry, being a part of NAMCO's sound team from 1990 to 1996 and being involved in several game series such as RIDGE RACER and TEKKEN. After she left NAMCO, she continued to work as a freelance artist, composing for several other games released by NAMCO, ARIKA, and CAPCOM. She works closely with Shinji Hosoe and Nobuyoshi Sano as a member of the SuperSweep, Manikyua-Dan, and sampling masters units. While she's skilled in rave and hardcore techno like Hosoe, she has an affinity for breakbeats and even disco, often composing such genres.
