A quick question

If none of the songs I put in my last edit on this page had data in Hottest Party 3, then why are they grouped with the Hottest Party 3 songs in the Master Songlist? --Christinaaguilerafan56 (talk) 21:46, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

  • They were probably all produced around the same time frame as the HP3 songs. --ArrowsAndBeats (talk) 23:54, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

D2R

Considering what Tatsh and Naoki said in their interview about DDR 1st MIX, it's pretty weird about how D2R was made for the 1st Mix, yet contained non-sampled vocals unless D2R was revised a la sakura storm. -- User:SomethingRandom (talk) 20:20, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

  • Pretty sure it was revised, yes. I can see the main melody being recycled from the early DDR days. --FinalOffset (talk) 13:27, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Regarding ウルトラハイヒール〜I JUST WANNA TELL YOU

So far, besides the blog post that is linked in the article, I have never seen any evidence regarding this song being in the 4thMIX location test. I remember reading back in, say, 2002, that it was rumored to be in said location test, but so far I have yet to see evidence regarding that. Has anybody looked through the 4thMIX data for references for the song? --FinalOffset (talk) 13:27, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

  • Murai's comment is probably good evidence, and the game the song it appeared on was released around 4th MIX's timeframe - SR 2019
    • It isn't evidence enough. TAKA in the beatmania IIDX song comments for ULTRA HIGH-HEELS states that the song was made for pop'n music as he was asked by Kiyotaka Sugimoto and Kiyoshi Murai, who were sound directors of pop'n music at the time. The only mention of DDR is in Murai's comments, and even then, it only implies that Angel was featured in DDR before. In which song, I don't know. Maybe she is the vocalist of a Dancemania song, or (likely) he meant GF/DM, as Angel provided vocals for a couple of songs in that series. --FinalOffset (talk) 23:03, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
