Many elements of Majestic Fire reference Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, whose soundtrack was also composed by Yoko Shimomura:
- Musically, it is very similar to the music that plays when fighting Ken in Street Fighter II.
  - The background is very reminiscent of Ken's stage as well.
- EN MOEYO's LOSE animation looks very much like the Continue? screen from Street Fighter II.
- EN MOEYO himself looks much like series lead Ryu, including his attire, uppercut in his GREAT animation, and his Hadoken-like attack in his FEVER! animation. His alternate form, TEN UCHO, greatly resembles Street Fighter regular Gouki/Akuma.
