INFINITAS version

After doing some listens to a recording I took while playing INFINITAS itself and comparing to the sparse selection of videos on YouTube, I cannot tell which version of the song is used here. Though there is one point of difference between the two I can pick out, at around 1:25. The INFINITAS video I took seems to match the AC version in that section. But I won't change anything in the article until I know for sure. --Thunderbird (talk) 04:00, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

  • While I don't play INFINITAS to check, it seems likely that the arcade version of Be Rock U (1998 burst style) would be used in that game (less effort to port a song that uses the same file system (PC), instead of converting from a PS2 title). Would be nice if you can check, though. --FinalOffset (talk) 15:49, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
    • After a few more listens (and digging out my copy of 9th CS to check that version), I'm inclined to say its the AC version in use. Though I'm still curious as to why the vocals were replaced for 9th CS in the first place. Anyway, I'm also uploading my recording to YouTube in case anyone wants to verify that, will post the link here after it's done. (EDIT: Video link if anyone else wants to check it) --Thunderbird (talk) 02:16, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
    • Yes, that's definitely the arcade version of the song, thanks for checking! As for why it had a different version in 9th CS, I don't know, but it likely was a licensing issue with DIGICCO. --FinalOffset (talk) 02:28, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
