• ガッチャマンの歌 is the opening theme of the popular Tatsunoko series Gatchaman (which was dubbed in the U.S. under the name Battle of the Planets).
• ガッチャマンの歌 is, as of pop'n music 20 fantasia, one of the two non-Animelo TV&ANIME licenses from pop'n music 10 still in the arcades, along with GOONIES"R"GOOD ENOUGH.
• YOSHIO was likely chosen as the character for ガッチャマンの歌 because, like the heroes in Gatchaman, he's a ninja, as were the superheroes in that series.
