Avril is vocalist Sanae Shintani's first and only mini-album during her tenure at KONAMI. It contains several new songs and two new long versions of pop'n music songs, a DVD recording of Sana's concert held on August 20, 2005 at the Zher the ZOO YOYOGI venue, as well as 2 bonus movies.
