Jamie Thompson is part of the duo J-Mi & Midi-D, along with Dave Phaneuf. She's been a long-time fan of BEMANI, especially the DanceDanceRevolution series. Jamie has worked previously with and remixed for such artists including Thomas Howard Lichtenstein, Pandora, Daz (from BUS STOP), SMiLE.dk, Rozalla, Disko Warp and more.

- According to Jamie, all she had to do in order to appear in a DanceDanceRevolution title was giving KONAMI of America a call and ask.
- Jamie Thompson is the first transgender artist in BEMANI.
- According to Jamie, a KONAMI employee suggested she change her alias to J-ミ (the katakana symbol for 'mi'), the ミ being a reference to the musical notes Do Re Mi. She took the suggestion but changed it so the note is written in English.
