I aimed for the concept of "being amused by young and stupid trends". To everyone reading this, it'd help if you can feel "lust", "sweat", and "muscle men" (not women).
Personally, it made me think that synthesizers are nice.

YAMAOKA has been participating since 4th style, but I actually never created a movie for him, although I had met him when we shot DANCER in the previous game 8th style.
So, this song is my first collaboration with him!

While listening to this song for the first time, I flooded with distinct images in my mind, and had the rare experience of almost having zero ideas for the video.
Unlike "DANCER", I didn't have the opportunity to have a meeting with him to discuss its contents.
Anyways, my aim was to express the very strange lyrics to my heart's content, which materialized as "a singing lion doll and a female partner, and by using various expression techniques, I created a fun, educational styled-video, where you can gain knowledge just by watching it"! And without question, I was immediately confident about it.
Conversely, among the movies I've worked so far, this one particularly required a lot of time to create and prepare the materials.
As seen in YAMAOKA's above comment, although my perspective is completely different, both this song and the concept of "being amused by young and stupid trends" have been well received in Japan and overseas, and this video somewhat helped a bit... I think.

The IIDX team admires YAMAOKA for his versatile style, deep honor, and coolness, and this was personally my first time creating a movie for one of his songs, which made me feel even stronger!

Q&A corner

Q: I think it's "Lion suki", but there's a particular part in the movie where it somewhat has a lot of silliness.
Wasn't there a scene where Yuri (was it her?) holds a plate with some words written on it?
I'm very curious about what's written.
I'm curious and I can't sleep.

A: The person wearing the yellow-green T-shirt holding the plate is Akane (Yuri is standing next to the lion and wearing a light blue T-shirt).
The introduction says "You've gotta get your carotene~", which means "there's a lot of carotene in food".
It's not a real infomercial, so it's only briefly shown. That's why I think it's too difficult see it while playing.
So, for example, ask your friends to play this song while you watch this video as a spectator... that's what I think.

GOLI has continued to live an irregular and unhealthy lifestyle for a long time, but if he continues to consume vegetables (juice) and carotene every day as this song advices us, his body will feel much better. As for everyone, try them by all means!
