• The ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom series and jubeat (2021) use a cover version of PONPONPON, instead of the original version that is used on the other BEMANI games.

• PONPONPON was the debut single of Japanese model/blogger Kiriko Takemura (stage name Caroline Charonplop Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, きゃろらいんちゃろんぷろっぷきゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ). It skyrocketed quickly in popularity, partially due to its music video posted on Warner Music Japan's YouTube channel (link below).
• PONPONPON was later included on きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ's album Moshi Moshi Harajuku (もしもし原宿).
• PONPONPON was removed from DanceEvolution ARCADE on August 1st, 2016.
• PONPONPON was removed from jubeat festo on September 14th, 2020.
• The cover version of PONPONPON received an EXTREME chart in jubeat (2021) on May 28th, 2021.
