  • 残酷な天使のテーゼ is the opening theme of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime. Yoko Takahashi, the original vocalist, resang it for the pop'n music cover.
  • pop'n music portable displays the genre on the songwheel just as 残酷な天使のテーゼ ("Zankoku na tenshi no thesis").
  • According to wac, 残酷な天使のテーゼ was one of the first anime licenses up for candidacy during production of pop'n music 6, but he didn't put it in due to its popularity already in pachinko slots and other places.
