General Information
- Released: August 2002
- Enhanced interface, along with the addition of many song revivals.
- First games to support e-AMUSEMENT.
- First game in the series to feature a licensed Long version song.
- Last game in the series to feature an upgraded version with new songs added.
- With the release of the newer PS2 games, GF 8th/DM 7th are the only installments in the franchise between GF 5th/DM 4th and GF 11th/DM 10th to have all of their licenses on PS2 installments.
- This is the first game since Hirofumi Sasaki's debut that he did not do one of the Extra/Encore Stage songs.
