Music that takes rapping and scratching from hip-hop and mixes it together with hardcore guitar is colloquially referred to as "mixture." With the song SHOWDOWN TO LIVE, I further mixed them together with trance, big beat, and other techno elements to create the song.

In my work, I often create dance music tracks that are mainly techno or house, but I like hardcore (punk) and melo-core too, and often go to live shows. And, whenever I go to live shows, I start to think things like "man, being in a band would be cool." Just when I was thinking "OK, for the next song I'll do what I'd do if I formed a band," Togo-chef ordered that he wanted an American street-style track, which turned out to be the start of creating this track.

FYI, the rapper who's spitting out cool rhymes in this track is Joey Slick AKA "45," an active DJ who hosts a program on InterFM.
