Hotaru Matzuzaki (better known as F-FLY) joined the beatmania IIDX "VJ ARMY" during the production of beatmania IIDX 9th style. Before working on beatmania IIDX, F-FLY was also a movie designer for beatmania. Typography is a recurring theme in her videos. Her first video made for the series was The Biggest Roaster.

Hotaru left KONAMI in 2006 (as stated in her blog on 7/31/06). Despite her departure, she continued to make videos in beatmania IIDX up to beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS.
