Profile
Yutaka Yamashita, also known as DJ TECHNORCH, is a pioneer of the hardcore movement in Japan. His main music style is based on the hardcore rave sound but also produces songs under the breakcore, rave, industrial techno, happy hardcore, J-Core and even Japanoise genres. His style uses a lot of old school rave sounds, scratching and chopped vocals, inspiring many other DJs and producers.
While his first albums were co-released with GUHROOVY, he now releases throughout his own label 999 Recordings. He was also a regular contributor to the HARDCORE TANO*C label but now he only appears in the SPEED BALL series, making collaboration tracks with REDALiCE. He also contributes to the MOB SQUAD TOKYO PARALLEL HARDCORE series with early rave tracks.
