- Prince on a Star is the second unlock of the WORLD OF LIGHT (光の世界) in pop'n music 15 ADVENTURE's Waku-waku Mimi Nyami tankentai (わくわくミミニャミ探検隊) unlock event. It could be unlocked from July 4th, 2007 through September 26th, 2007.
- As of September 26th, 2007, Prince on a Star has been unlocked for everyone to play.
- Prince on a Star marks ookami-boy's first appearance on pop'n music. Before this, he appeared on some beatmania movies, including FINDING A NEW WORLD, one seek, and the original Prince on a star.
- ookami-boy was also a scrapped pop'n music 5 rival character (see character number 11).
- ookami-boy also appeared on Homesick Pt.2&3's GuitarFreaks & DrumMania video.
