TeddyLoid

Artist Information

Profile

TeddyLoid is a Japanese music producer and DJ who started his career as a commercial musician in 2008 as the main DJ on the world tour of the Japanese rock musician MIYAVI. In 2016, TeddyLoid was selected by Spotify as the fifth most popular Japanese artist outside Japan, next to PIKO-TARO.

TeddyLoid was exposed to rockabilly from an early age because of his parents' work, and took his name from the rockabilly artist Kentucky Boys' Teddy Boy [1]. On the other hand, it is said by him that the foundation of his present musicality is a French touch [2].

TeddyLoid is well known for his collaboration with ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo), and the two of them provided BGMs together for the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime series.
