Chie Kurihara

Artist Information

Profile

Chie Kurihara, also known as Chie Fukami, is a singer-songwriter and pianist based in Tokyo, Japan. Having studied piano since the age of 3 and finding interest in books and pictures, Chie's style of pop is more so interested in the idea of stories and images rather than genres, often making use of toy instruments, synthesizers, and "everyday sounds". Most of her music is released independently.

From 2016, Chie began to use the alias of kidlit for her works. For 2016 years only, Chie performed Shibuya-kei song as a unit called sugarbee with Shunsuke Kida.
