It's been a while, hasn't it?
I'm e.o.s., and over the course of the beatmania series, I've had the privilege of contributing two songs.
One of them is a song called e-motion, which everyone has continued to play for so long.
My new song this time, SYNTH 1997, was made with the intention of being played (by everyone) just as much as e-motion.
The song's title is a pun on the phrase "SINCE 1997," with the number 1997 referring to the year in which e-motion was created.
In being able to create a song for the beatmania series after so long, I gave it this title to reemphasize my personal sentiment, "Never forget where you came from" (which I felt when creating e-motion).
I also made the song itself just as dramatic as e-motion, I feel.
