General Information / Changes

• KONAMI's only title for the Bandai WonderSwan.
• The interface is based on beatmania 3rdMIX.
• Contains songs from the arcade/console versions of beatmania.
• Unlike the Game Boy versions, the original audio and most of the charts were retained.
• The gauge type used in EXPERT depends on the course selected.
  • class~a or class~b: Normal (based on EXPERT in AC beatmania and 2ndMIX)
  • survival: Survival (based on EXPERT in AC 3rdMIX)

Codes & Unlock Information

Unlock Songs

• HARD TECHNO (Attack the music)

1. Play all songs that are normally available (not including DJ BATTLE) at least once.
2. Anytime after that, in NORMAL, for the third stage select and clear a song that is 3* or higher.
3. HARD TECHNO is now available on the final stage. Play it to unlock it for FREE PLAY.

• MEDLEY (All songs for WonderSwan)

1. First, you must have unlocked and played HARD TECHNO in NORMAL (see above).
2. The next time you play NORMAL, clear the final stage.
3. MEDLEY is now available in FREE PLAY only.

Unlock EXPERT Courses

• class~a [hidden] and class~b [hidden]

1. In FREE PLAY, select HIDDEN for the play mode, then play any song.
2. Anytime after that, in EXPERT, select either class~a or class~b, then clear the final stage of that course.
3. The next time you play EXPERT, an additional "[hidden]" version of that course will be available.

• survival

1. First, you must have unlocked and played HARD TECHNO in NORMAL (see above).
2. In EXPERT, clear either the class~a or class~b course.
3. The next time you play EXPERT, the survival course will be available.

Enable HIDDEN in DUEL

1. To perform this, you must have two WonderSwans connected to each other via a link cable.
2. On the title screen, press and hold A and B, then press START.
3. Any song played afterward will now have the HIDDEN modifier enabled.
4. To disable HIDDEN, simply return to the title screen.

Reset Saved Data

1. Be aware that performing this will irreversibly clear all high score records, and remove all unlocked songs and EXPERT courses.
2. Power on the WonderSwan.
3. Before the BANDAI logo appears, press and hold START, X1, X2, X3, and X4 until the game boots up.
