General Information / Changes

  • Title: GuitarFreaks XG3 & DrumMania XG3
  • Release Date: February 23rd, 2012
  • Rating system restored back to the classic 1-99 scale in the first location test. The second test, as well as the final version of the game, restore the rating system back to the traditional XG 1-10 scale.
  • Classic Mode removed, and with it all non-XG songs/Long Version songs.
  • New songs do not feature videos, but instead CG characters playing guitars and drums, not unlike Guitar Hero. Older Guitar Freaks / DrumMania songs with unique videos are now put in the background a la Dance Dance Revolution X2/X3.
  • Location Test Dates: August 8-7 2011, August 27-28 2011
