* dong-tepo no.1's overlays feature Fireboy in his debut appearance.
* dong-tepo no.1's title is based on Taepodong-1 (대포동 1호), a three-stage technology demonstrator of an intermediate-range ballistic missile developed by North Korea.
** Its title was changed to rocket factory when beatmania IIDX 2nd style was released in Korea (under the beatstage II 2nd style title). However, despite the title change, the overlays still retain its original title.
*** rocket factory's title card could still be found unused in beatmania IIDX 3rd style and 9th style.
* dong-tepo no.1 received LIGHT charts in beatmania IIDX 3rd style.

dj nagureo, who supported 2nd style from a somewhat distanced perspective of deciding the direction of the songs and artists this time around, worked through his schedule to provide us with this song.
This is the only song that I could not clear on NORMAL, and I think it's the hardest seven star song we have.
Commentary by dj TAKA:
Today, I received comments from nagureo.
"dong-tepo no.1 wasn't the heinous game you all know, but I created it after researching how to help all of you BEMANI fans to level up your skill further.
dj nagureo had something of a difference of opinion on what we should do for music and song direction for 2nd style, but as the schedule started to creep up on us he gave us this song. This is the only song I couldn't clear on normal mode, and I think it's the hardest seven star song we have. I've got some comments from dj nagureo on this song.
We will continue to make more things like dong-tepo in the game, so please look forward to it."

"'dong-tepo No. 1' is a horrible game you probably don't know, but as a level-up countermeasure for you Bemani fans, we've done a thorough investigation. Even after this, I hope you'll all be prepared for the dong-tepo investigation in game form."

Many players can't even experience this seven star song, the highest difficulty in this game.
Hidden within a dimensional zone higher than TENGOKU, everyone has been waiting for this song by dj nagureo.
Although the genre is classified as TECHNO, this song doesn't have a specific image in mind, so various worlds are redrawn in succession every time you listen to it.
GOLI felt a certain funniness of TECHNO POP in this song, so he included the character drawn in the background of the song select screen in 4KEYS mode, Fireboy, a.k.a FiBo.

Difficulty & Notecounts
beatmania IIDX difficulty rated from 1 to 7 in 2nd and 3rd style, and 1 to 7+ from 6th through 9th style.

Many players have no personal experience with the ultimate in difficulty, the seven star song. This song from dj nagureo seems to have been waiting for players to attain that personal dimension higher than TENGOKU. It's labeled as techno, but it doesn't really lend itself to any single description, and the more you listen to the song the more influences it seems to draw on. GOLI considered a particularly funny kind of technopop, so he decided to let the character from the 4KEYS mode song select screen, Fireboy (or FB for short) make an appearance in this song.
