  • Song list includes all the new songs from beatmania 6thMIX THE UK UNDERGROUND MUSIC.
  • The SEPARATE gameplay frame was added, which gives the black keys their own columns rather than placing them in the space between the white key columns, like in beatmania IIDX.
  • First beatmania III game to include LONG version songs, which are selectable alongside their respective original versions.
  • MOMENT's ANOTHER charts were added.
  • Final beatmania III version with INTERNET RANKING.
  • Black lanes (TRANSLUCENT OFF) modifier no longer needs a secret code.
  • An option menu, which include beatmania III's new modifiers, was added on the song select screen. It can be accessed by pressing Start.
    • Both players can use Foot play.
    • The SEPARATE gameplay frame was added in Frame select.
