Profile
Pink Turbo was a J-pop/pop punk/rock band based in Japan. The group made their first BEMANI-related appearance on Ryu☆'s 1st album starmine performing starmine -swallowtailmix-, a remix of starmine which would later appear in pop'n music and REFLEC BEAT. The band also performed songs in the DDR, GF/DM, IIDX, and jubeat series, making the group one of the few groups outside of the BEMANI music team to have an original song in each of the five major active BEMANI series currently.
Pink Turbo dissolved on May 8th, 2012. Since then, Makino has sung on her own in various BEMANI songs.
Trivia
- The group performed a cover of ☆shining☆ from pop'n music 9. This version of the song appears in DanceDanceRevolution X2 AC.
- Vocalist Makino is available in beatmania IIDX 18 Resort Anthem as a category voice by spending 30000 Dellar Points in the World Tour Other category.
