I decided to take on the challenge of creating a successor to GRADIUSIC CYBER, a track that remains popular to this day.
What is the difference between "big beat" and "digital rock"? As far as I know, it is argued that there is no clear difference between the two (I don't even hear the term "digital rock" being used any more).
Untranslated.
I believe it is up to personal interpretation. In my vague image, big beat uses a middle tempo with bulky rhythms. This applies to songs in the IIDX series like GAMBOL, Electro Tuned, and Schlagwerk.
On the contrary, the uptempo style of digi-rock gives off a sensation of running. This song has a large dependence on breakbeats, I wonder if that'll help push it into the lead.
Since it is my own personal interpretation, it may be better not to use it elsewhere. But genres start off when one starts willfully talking about it, so I would like it if this could be a new standard~. (just kidding!)
So, IIDX uses this kind of feeling as such, but the genre is basically decided by the person who made the track, so there are certain exceptions depending on the person's own interpretation.

I challenged myself to create a track which inherits the atmosphere of GRADIUSIC CYBER, which was well received by everyone.
I scattered some tones which were featured in the previous song to bring the atmosphere closer to it, but with a fresh feeling.
I needed the courage to create a track which serves as a sequel to a popular song, but this is personally my favorite.
By the way, although the song title is based on a certain KONAMI medal game, it has nothing to do with it, I'm sorry.

Well, let's talk about its genre like Togo-chef sometimes does.
What's the difference between "BIG BEAT" and "DIGITAL ROCK"? It's often discussed, but as far as I know, there's no clear difference between them (I haven't heard the term "DIGITAL ROCK" being used much lately).
From there, it's based on my personal interpretation.
From my vague image, BIG BEAT has a middle tempo with bulky rhythms, which feels like it's sitting on your back.
Examples of these included in the IIDX series include "GAMBOL", "ELECTRO TUNED", and "Schlagwerk".
Conversely, DIGI ROCK has an up-tempo and speedy image, like sprinting.
This song highly relies on breakbeats, so I wonder if it can be used to push the song forward.
It's just my own personal interpretation, so perhaps it's best not to use it elsewhere.
But, the genre originated by someone on their own, so I wonder if this could become a new standard~.
Just kidding.
So, IIDX properly uses genres likes this, but what is shown as the genre is basically decided by the person who created the track, so of course there are exceptions depending on the person's interpretation.

The beauty of the multi-layered style of the video, which continuously transitions at high-speed over the song, is VJ YUZ's specialty!

I was so lucky to be in charge of the movie of dj TAKA's "LEADING CYBER", which is my favorite song in beatmania IIDX 3rd style? I think so.
Although the development time felt a bit harsh, the power of dj TAKA's music motivated me, and I was able to enjoy working on it with an extremely high tension.
I really enjoyed the process of gathering the finely scattered sounds and inserting them in the video.

The more you listen (and the more you play), you can taste LEADING CYBER!
