Hey yo, I'm like this, so watch the moves that I make How I take over the floor, throw the grooves that I shake I'm number one, how'd you figure that I'm losing my place? If your the joker, player, then who's the ace? Hey, yo, it's me, the player to beat, I'm playin' for keeps I got some special moves, so homie don't sleep You learn and I teach controllin' the game You can brag all you want, but you kids don't be rollin' the same I'm bringin' the pain The game is done, you might as well run My time is come and I'm gonna shine like the sun No suprise, I'll bust a flip on you guys The dance moves I do, I'm keepin' it live Keepin' the vibe, fly-guy style express Competition is none, player, and I jam like that I'm the best, can't be beat, you know it's me, keep up the pace, and you'll advance with me, c'mon Let's see who's better. You wanna play a tune, I wanna groove with you (I wanna) so turn me on! Let's see who's better. You wanna play a tune, I wanna groove with you (I wanna) so turn me on! Let's see Ooohh Hit me!
Song Connections / Remixes
- LET THE BEAT HIT EM! BASS MIX is a remix of Let the beat hit em!, from DanceDanceRevolution Solo BASS MIX.
Trivia
- On the DanceDanceRevolution series, LET THE BEAT HIT EM! BASS MIX is known as Let the beat hit em! (BM II DX version).
- It is only accessible randomly through roulette in Solo 2000, and is initially locked on its CS appearances. Its stepcharts are identical to the original's.
- However in DDRMAX -DanceDanceRevolution-, the last measure of the double heavy step chart and both standard & heavy single step charts use 8th and 16th notes instead of the 12th notes that were normally there. These same step changes are seen in gentle stress (SENSUAL MIX), except that the changes are in different measures of the step chart and only on the heavy difficulty for both single & double step charts

- Let the beat hit em! (BM II DX version) received a BEGINNER chart in Dancing Stage MegaMiX.

Originally produced by STONE BROS. for "DanceDanceRevolution Solo BASSMIX", I provide you with a different version of this song.
The scratches of "Hey" sound very much like that of something from beatmania.
When I think about this song, I imagine myself rolling down the coast of the American road, an image further enhanced with GOLI's illustrations for this song.

Video Production Information
GOLI
The Miami-based sound in this song features some kind of kazoo (or at least I think it does), which I noticed in pictures I found of the music producer. If I were given the chance to draw the illustrations for this song again, I would've done it more resilient, smoother, and dirtier, in addition to drawing the bottom portions of the people I drew.
