General Information
- Released: Early 1999
- Like the original Pop'n Music, there's only one difficulty level for songs. The easiest is Masara, which is a 5. The hardest is Heavy Metal, which is a 23.
- Famous J-POP artist Ichiro Mizuki sings Anime Hero R. He's had a career in singing songs for various mecha series in Japan since the early 1970s. He also appeared in the first Nintendo 64 Ganbare Goemon game, where he sang the song Ore wa Impact (I Am Impact).
- This is the first (and only) version of Pop'n Music to have Scotty D (Scott Dolph) in it.
- This is the first game in the series to have speed modifiers. However, the only one is 2X.
- The bonus songs from the original Pop'n Music are playable this time around from the get-go.
