2015

A location test for DanceDanceRevolution (2014) was held at various Round 1 and Dave & Buster's locations in California during the summer of 2015. The game had its interface translated into English, and included eAMUSEMENT support. Although the location test was a success, the game's release was cancelled following the announcement of DanceDanceRevolution A, which was released instead at next year.

In Japan that summer KONAMI also did extensive location testing for a new BEMANI series - MÚSECA. After five location tests throughout the summer, the game finally launched in December, and was given a lukewarm reception at release, with much criticism given to its hard to see visuals and somewhat strict life bar. An update to the game the following year would address these issues.
