February
- February 7th: DanceDanceRevolution (2013) is released to Korean arcades.
- February 15th: KONAMI announces at JAEPO 2014 the revival of their beatnation Records label, and also announces a new group, beatnation RHYZE, which consists nearly entirely of commission artists who have contributed to BEMANI over the past two years. The first three members of the seven-member lineup were confirmed: DJ TOTTO (leader, and the then only in-house member), Hommarju, and P*Light. In addition, Naoyuki Sato (猫叉Master) joined the main group as its seventh member.
March
- March 3rd: jubeat saucer fulfill is released to Japanese arcades.

- Unknown date: Due to rising taxes, KONAMI adds PASELI-only features to Japanese BEMANI games on a far bigger scale than they had for the past four years, locking Japanese players out of certain modes (especially EXTRA STAGE in most games' cases) and features. The average price of a game via PASELI also increased from 100 yen to 120 yen. Please see the individual pages for pages for games released in/during 2014 as to how each game was affected.
- April 10th: three more members of beatnation RHYZE are revealed: かめりあ, OSTER project, and RoughSketch.
May
- May 3rd: pop'n music Sunny Park original soundtrack vol.2 is released.
- May 12th: DanceDanceRevolution (2014) is released to Japanese arcades.

- Qrispy Joybox and DJ Yoshitaka step down from sound director and producer respectively to work on BeatStream. Both of their positions would be taken over by Des-ROW.
- SOUND VOLTEX III GRAVITY WARS is released to Japanese arcades.
