BEMANI
Background
BEMANI (ビーマニ) is the brand name of KONAMI's music simulation game series. The brand was originally named the Games & Music Division (G.M.D.) until it was changed in honor of its first successful game, beatmania in 1999. The name BEMANI is a Japanese syllabic abbreviation of be>atmania. Following the success of beatmania, the line was expanded with other music-based games throughout the years.
A more colorful variation of the logo was created in 2004. This alternate logo is used only for some select series or games only:
- pop'n music 12 いろは to present, including CS releases and pop'n rhythmin.
- Toy's March
- DanceDanceRevolution Winx Club and DanceDanceRevolution MUSIC FIT
- ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom

Events
KONAMI Arcade Championship (KAC)
Created in 2011, the KAC is an annual competition hosted by KONAMI for some of its games sweries including the following BEMANI arcade series: beatmania IIDX, DanceDanceRevolution, GITADORA (GuitarFreaks & DrumMania), jubeat, pop'n music, REFLEC BEAT, SOUND VOLTEX (since 2012), DanceEvolution ARCADE (since 2012), BeatStream (since 2014) and ミライダガッキ(since 2014)
A second contest, KAC Asia, was also held in Asia using only BEMANI series in 2011. The following years, the second contest was merged with the original KAC.
TAG's Birthday Festival (TAG生誕祭)
TAG's Birthday Festival (TAG生誕祭, TAG seitan matsuri) was a shared event between beatmania IIDX 21 SPADA, DanceDanceRevolution (2013), GITADORA OverDrive, pop'n music Sunny Park, jubeat saucer fulfill, REFLEC BEAT colette -All Seasons-, SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection-, DanceEvolution ARCADE, ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom Ver.2 and BeatStream. It started on March 25th, 2014 on TAG's Birthday with songs by TAG being added to each games.
U.M.U × BEMANI
U.M.U × BEMANI is an event between BEMANI and Japanese talent agency Horipro. From May 21th, 2014 to August 13th, 2014, songs from the U.M.U (Under Major Unitidol) contest were added to three BEMANI series: DanceDanceRevolution (2014) ,jubeat saucer fulfill and REFLEC BEAT groovin'!!.
GUMI 5th Anniversary party Presented by BEMANI
GUMI 5th Anniversary party Presented by BEMANI is shared event between beatmania IIDX 21 SPADA, DanceDanceRevolution (2014), GITADORA OverDrive, pop'n music ラピストリア, pop'n rhythmin ,jubeat saucer fulfill, REFLEC BEAT groovin'!! and SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection-. It started on June 26th, 2014 by adding バンブーソード・ガール, 幻想系世界修復少女 and Idola in every game. Depending from series to series, other songs featuring VOCALOID GUMI were also added during the event in collaboration with the FLOOR INFECTION event.

The Discovery! BEMANI Ruins Revived (発見！よみがえったBEMANI遺跡, Hakken! Yomigaetta BEMANI iseki) event is a collaboration event between beatmania IIDX 21 SPADA, DanceDanceRevolution (2014), GITADORA OverDrive, pop'n music ラピストリア, jubeat saucer fulfill, REFLEC BEAT groovin'!!, SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection-, DanceEvolution ARCADE, ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom Ver.2, and BeatStream. The event started on July 24th, 2014 and is still in progress as of now.

beatnation Records
beatnation Records is the in-house recording label of KONAMI's BEMANI music branch founded in 2006 by dj TAKA. A sub-label, beatnation RHYZE was founded in 2014 with upcoming artists mainly from the SOUND VOLTEX series and a few other BEMANI series.
