- May 31st: Pusu (Asaya Yano), a songwriter for the music group TUYU (ツユ), was arrested after stabbing his sleeping teenage girlfriend in the chest with a knife. [1]
- Following said arrest, on June 6th KONAMI removed all songs composed/written by him across BEMANI games. This marks the first time KONAMI has removed a song due to songwriter controversy since Kiss Kiss was removed from jubeat ripples due to Chris Brown's arrest on February 8th, 2009 after violently beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
