Activate Play Mode or Modifier for Main Game

The information in this section pertains to beatmania CS, beatmania APPEND 3rdMIX (mini), APPEND GOTTAMIX, and all games with a BONUS EDIT mode (4th/5th/GOTTA2/Club) when BONUS EDIT mode is active.

  • To activate a play mode or modifier for the main game, you must do so from the PRESS START BUTTON screen and then choose GAME START after you activate it.
    • Unless otherwise noted, actions for activating a play mode or modifier must be performed on only the P1 controller or P2 controller, and will not work if performed on the opposite controller.
      • However, after you activate a play mode or modifier, you can choose GAME START with either controller.
    • When you activate a play mode or modifier, a confirmation sound will play.
