Konami announces that they are considering making beatmania IIDX 7th style CS after over a year of hiatus. To proceed, players would have to fill out 10,000 questionnaires.

10,000 questionnaires are filled out.
November 27th, 2003
Pre-orders begin for beatmania IIDX 7th style CS. Konami announces they must receive at least 20,000 pre-orders to release the game.
December 25th, 2003

Konami responds to the petition, and opens up a Twitter account on KONAMI STYLE for people to express their opinions. They ask what system it should be on - PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, or something else.

Konami puts up on KONAMI STYLE a new line of IIDX controllers for sale on March 17th, 2011, at a reduced price of 6,090 yen.
December 18th, 2010
Konami puts an update on their Twitter account on KONAMI STYLE concerning SIRIUS and a possible home version, highly increasing tension on a possible CS release.
May 22nd, 2011
Konami responds with further info on a SIRIUS CS by starting a petition poll not unlike what they did with 7th style, requiring users to use e-AMUSEMENT GATE to sign it.

Konami replies via twitter that they have no plans at the moment for a console beatmania IIDX title, but have taken note of the demand for the games.
September 2nd, 2015
An open alpha test of beatmania IIDX INFINITAS, a PC-only release of beatmania IIDX, was released and could be played only for some hours of the same day.
October 22nd-28th, 2015
Second beatmania IIDX INFINITAS alpha test begins, limited to 5,000 applicants through a ballot.
December 1st, 2015
beatmania IIDX INFINITAS was released. A trial version for benchmarking purposes was also released.
December 9th, 2019
beatmania IIDX ULTIMATE MOBILE was released.
August 5th, 2020
beatmania IIDX INFINITAS was heavily upgraded.
